I had a free day while on a working trip to Las Vegas in mid February so I decided to check out the Neon Boneyard. A different Christmas

My husband and I are usually alone on Christmas Day. Gatherings with Myk's family happen before the big day and my family are all overseas. The weather was so good this year we decided to spend the day exploring. I made beef stew in the crock pot so that we would have a hearty meal on our return and packed up a picnic lunch. Fall in New York

Every November I travel to New York City as a buyer for Nephew's of Mackinac. I have worked for this family-owned Mackinac boutique for over 20 years. We head to New York to meet with a few vendors who do not travel to regional shows. I look forward to this trip each year. I love New York in the Fall.
